This beautiful, long-lasting daybed can be ordered with a mattress for the main bed, as well as a trundle with mattress to tuck underneath. A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated to the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform a twin size daybed into a king size bed.
Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it's made up of two separate mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation, but it's an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
