Improved! After receiving customer feedback on the length of the mattress being too short, we conferred with the manufacturer. The issue stemmed from the compression of the mattress. The manufacturer has addressed the issue, and the mattresses will be a full 74 inches in length (standard twin size). Please remember that because this is a compressed mattress, it requires 24 hours to fully expand to its actual size.

Clearance underneath the bed is 14-16 inches, depending on the alignment holes used. The recommended weight for the support system is 200-250 pounds. Some assembly required. This purchase also comes with a free mattress, so you'll be hosting guests as soon as the daybed is delivered.
Mattress available is a Sleep Time Mattress. A good-quality mattress measuring 6 inches thick, the Sleep Time Mattress is perfectly sized for bunk beds, trundles, and daybeds. A light blue quilted polyester cover encloses a combination of convoluted poly-foam and innerspring coils that provide both comfort and support. Fiber pad insulators keep the inner mattress core and outer upholstery layers securely in place. Mattress meets all FR 1633 federal flammability standards. Twin measures 74L x 38W x 6H inches.
