The Mason Daybed by Hillsdale is constructed of solid pine and has a graceful Victorian style about it. Full-bodied panels on the back and sides create a substantial portion of this bed frame. Clearance underneath the bed is 14-16 inches, depending on the alignment holes used. The clearance is large enough to store the optional pop-up trundle underneath, great for an added bed for those unexpected guests. Strong twill fabric holds the tuft of the mattress, while tape edge finishing ensures a proper fit and finish of the mattress cover. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.
Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable, you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
