Square, solid wood posts are topped with ball finials, while metal grills at each side and along the back feature twisted wire spindles and softly scrolled accents. Complementing cherry wood and black metal finishes give this daybed an elegant boost. All Madison Daybed options include a support system. To suit your unique requirements, you may choose to add a daybed mattress, pop-up trundle with no mattresses, or pop-up trundle with two mattresses. This quality mattress features a Sta-rite quilted cotton/polyester pad and a patented Aerolife bonded cotton pad made with high-performance fibers that extend the life of the mattress. A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com's optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king -size bed.
