A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com's optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king -size bed.
Optional mattress is the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress. Crafted with multiple layers of resilient foam filling, the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress will provide outstanding comfort and medium-firm support for any twin-size bed or daybed. Machine tufting and high-performance, 2.0 density foam help retain the mattress shape, and double layers of polyester on top and bottom provide a clean, crisp look. Strong twill fabric holds the tuft of the mattress, while tape edge finishing ensures a proper fit and finish of the mattress cover. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.
Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses.= The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
