In French, "je t'aime" means both "I love you" and "I like you" - the meaning of the sentiment becomes clear in context. And in the context of the Isabella Daybed, we think you'll agree it can only mean "I love you." This piece boasts elegant arching and floral sprays full of French romance in a practical package that doubles as seating and sleep space for little girls' rooms and guest bedrooms alike. What's not to love, really?
The twin-size bed is crafted in the USA from durable poplar and select hardwood solids and veneers with some simulated wood components. Light antiquing, including gentle fly-specking and dry-brushing, gives the wood itself Old World charm, and Provencal detail - a dramatically arched backboard, delicately rendered floral sprays throughout, and four coordinating carved finials and ball feet - captures the dreamy feel of pastoral France. Choose from a variety of soft solid-color finishes with subtle tonal striping along the bed's carved details and overlays.
Opt for a French country look with simple blue-and-white bedding, or create a more ornate feel with rich, satiny sheets in gold and white tones. Use the low-lock bed rail position for small children who have just graduated to a big kid bed. Use the high-lock rail position for older children, or to make space for the optional trundle unit below. Optional mattresses are available. Included slat roll provides all the mattress support you'll need for sweet slumber.
Optional mattress is the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress. Crafted with multiple layers of resilient foam filling, the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress will provide outstanding comfort and medium-firm support for any twin-size bed or daybed. Machine tufting and high-performance, 2.0 density foam help retain the mattress shape, and double layers of polyester on top and bottom provide a clean, crisp look. Strong twill fabric holds the tuft of the mattress, while tape edge finishing ensures a proper fit and finish of the mattress cover. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.

Do not place your furniture in direct sunlight and/or a damp area. Arrange your furniture so it is not placed in front of or over heating or air conditioning vents. Avoid placing furniture directly under windows. Be careful not to place plastic materials (place mats, lamp bases, notebooks, etc.) on your furniture. Certain plastics have ingredients that may react with and damage the finish. Occasionally rotate accessories so they do not remain in the same spot for extended periods. Avoid creating marks on your furniture by placing a piece of felt, cloth, or leather under accessories. Lift objects from the top surface rather than dragging them across the finish when moving them. Use a protective pad when using your furniture as a writing surface (especially when using a ballpoint pen). Wipe up spills promptly. Water left over a prolonged period of time will cause white spots in the finish, and alcohol, perfume, after-shave, and medicines can cause severe damage to the finish. Dust frequently with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. To remove accumulated dust or old furniture wax buildup, use a soft, lint-free cloth which has been dampened in a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth, and then apply furniture polish, wiping it in the direction of the wood grain. It's recommended that the furniture be polished every six months.
