A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin size daybed into a king size bed.

Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses.  The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.  The Create-A-King mattress connector is available for purchase in the shopping cart.

Mattress included is the Super Sleep Mattress. Perfectly sized for bunk beds, trundles, or daybeds, the Super Sleep Mattress is a good-quality twin mattress with a gray cover. The Sta-rite inner quilted cotton pad offers extra comfort, and a rolled innerspring with 288 coils provides medium-firm support. The cover is smooth with a single taped edge.
