Each drawer interior measures 20 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. This bed is constructed of solid pine wood so you can enjoy its timeless beauty and functionality for years. Maximum thickness for the mattress used in trundle unit is 6 inches. Please note this bed has a 180-lb. weight capacity.

Comments about Woodcrest Ethan Mission Trundle Bed:
I ordered this product online and it was delivered to my daughter's home for my grand daughter. Upon arival the packaging was open and crushed and the lower corners of both end panels were damaged. Upon closer inspection we determined that this product had obviously been returned by someone else and then sent to us. There were multiple spots on the bed itself where the paint was rubbed off or the wood actually broken away. These blemishes were small and since sending the bed back would probably have been costly as well as inconvenient, we decided to keep it and repair the damaged areas. The actual construction of th3e bed was a nightmare. The photo directions were difficult to follow and it took hours! Once finished, the bed seems to be very sturdy but quite high for a toddler coming out of a crib. I believe she will initially have to sleep in the trundle. There were knobs completely missing from the package. I will try to send this email to the manufacturer also, but I am having trouble finding their address.
