The package - including a platform daybed, bed ends, a bookcase unit, and three optional under-bed storage boxes - starts with strong, long-lasting hardwood finished in a warm, go-with-everything distressed brown cherry. The super-supportive slatted platform fits neatly between the low-lying, beadboard-style bed ends. The four-shelf bookcase unit has narrower shelves at the top for smaller books and toys and taller shelves at the bottom for over-sized picture books and spare blankets. Three optional under-bed storage boxes are included to discreetly house favorite toys and seasonal linens.
