Crafted from durable Asian hardwood solids and durable, warp-resistant engineered wood (MDF), this daybed will last through many nights, naps, and, of course, overnight guests. A beadboard design complements a gracefully arched silhouette and sloping arms. Each post is topped with a classic round finial. Includes daybed support system for complete mattress support. If you need extra sleeping space, add the optional pop-up trundle. Add one or two mattresses and you'll be all set.
Optional mattress is the Orthopedic Back Aid Mattress. This quality mattress features a Sta-rite quilted cotton/polyester pad and a patented Aerolife bonded cotton pad made with high-performance fibers that extend the life of the mattress. Rolled inner spring coils take the pressure off your back, while a Damask quilted layer on one side enhances your comfort. Twin size measures 75L x 39W x 7.5H inches. Carries a three-year manufacturer's warranty.
A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com's optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king-size bed.
