Shiloh Daybed-Free Mattress!

Unlike most daybeds, the Shiloh Daybed-Free Mattress uses both wood and metal in the daybed frame, and the result is beguiling. The Shiloh is constructed of four beautiful solid hardwood posts with rounded finials. Each post is connected by an elegant, gate-like metal design finished in a rich, textured black. The Shiloh Daybed is perfect for dens, bedrooms, and sitting areas, and an optional trundle and free included mattress make it totally usable. An additional mattress may be purchased with the trundle option.

This daybed frame uses a standard twin-size mattress. Link spring is 15 inches from the floor. Ships via common carrier.

A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com's optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up-style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king-size bed.

Mattress available is a Sleep Time Mattress. A good-quality mattress measuring 6 inches thick, the Sleep Time Mattress is perfectly sized for bunk beds, trundles, and daybeds. A light blue quilted polyester cover encloses a combination of convoluted poly-foam and innerspring coils that provide both comfort and support. Fiber pad insulators keep the inner mattress core and outer upholstery layers securely in place. Mattress meets all FR 1633 federal flammability standards. Twin measures 74L x 38W x 6H inches.

Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses.  The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
