This daybed is available with an optional trundle that can be used to hold a twin mattress for additional sleeping space. The trundle conveniently drops down to store away underneath the daybed. The trundle unit only (not including mattress height) is 6 inches high when flat for storing, and 15 inches high when in its raised position.
When you order the Miami Daybed, you have the option of ordering just the daybed frame, the daybed with trundle, the daybed with trundle and one mattress, or the daybed with trundle and two mattresses. Each option includes a link spring with two crossbars, which support the top mattress in the same way a box spring supports a mattress on a regular twin size bed. The optional twin mattresses are crafted from 100% synthetic materials and feature a comfortable quilted exterior. The interiors are made from high-density foam/memory foam, which offers durable support. Each mattress is 5 inches deep, which makes it fit perfectly inside the daybed frame or trundle drawer. Mattress available is a Sleep Time Mattress. A good-quality mattress measuring 6 inches thick, the Sleep Time Mattress is perfectly sized for bunk beds, trundles, and daybeds. A light blue quilted polyester cover encloses a combination of convoluted poly-foam and innerspring coils that provide both comfort and support. Fiber pad insulators keep the inner mattress core and outer upholstery layers securely in place. Mattress meets all FR 1633 federal flammability standards. Twin measures 74L x 38W x 6H inches.

Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it'll be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses.
