A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up-style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king-size bed.

The fantastic thing about this bed is that it’s based on a very classic silhouette, so it really easy to
incorporate into any décor. That could be a guest bedroom, a home office, or even a kid’s room. The ball castings update the look while at the same time making it easy to match with existing furniture hardware.
Decorating Tip: If you love the bed, but don’t have round hardware – you can spend a few dollars and a few minutes at your local hardware store, and easily find hardware that will match this bed. The end result is an updated look, and bedroom suite that looks like it was made to go together.
Practical Tip: You might want to look at a trundle unit as it can offer a second sleeping surface, without taking up additional space.
