Please note that two twin size mattresses will need to be purchase for the Emma Daybed, one for the daybed and one for the trundle.
A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses. Mattress included is the Super Sleep Mattress. Perfectly sized for bunk beds, trundles, or daybeds, the Super Sleep Mattress is a good-quality twin mattress with a gray cover. The Sta-rite inner quilted cotton pad offers extra comfort, and a rolled innerspring with 288 coils provides medium-firm support. The cover is smooth with a single taped edge.
