Free mattresses available are Sleep Time Mattresses. This twin sized mattress is constructed of durable polyester knit and sports a 1/4 inch quilted fire barrier on the top and border. The smooth bottom panel is also flame resistant to keep you extra safe in the event of an emergency. The mattress is filled with a double layer of High Density Dream Soft polyurethane foam for added comfort. Mattress measures 73L x 37W x 5.75 inches
Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it'll be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation, but it's an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King mattress connector is available for purchase in the shopping cart.

This bed is great. I just moved into a small apartment, and to save space, I decided to go with this daybed as my primary bed. I saved money on the twin mattress (over a full), I didn't have to buy a useless box spring, and my sheets were cheaper to buy too. It's stylish and sturdy, and since I didn't buy a trundle, I use the bottom area for storage. Be warned, though--the color in the picture is not the real color. It's not silver, but more of a silvery-brown (one website called it champaign).

I have not yet received the Astoria daybed, but have received the mattresses. Online, it says the mattresses are 6" high; these are 4" and garbage. They're the kind you would find on a convertible couch - which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I saw this daybed in a store & the online picture also shows a reasonably sized mattress. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with this product.

I am using this as my primary bed because of my room size, but it is roomy and comfortable. I will add the pop-up trundle soon. The design is interesting and unique and the frame is very sturdy. I put it together by myself in less than 2 hours.
