At 6 inches thick, this good-quality mattress is a perfect fit for most bunk bed frames, as it allows top bunk guard rails to extend a safe distance above the top of the mattress. It's also ideal for trundles and daybeds. The cover is made with light blue quilted polyester and features a high-loft fire barrier for even greater fire resistance. Fiber pad insulators on the bottom and sides separate the inner mattress core from the outer upholstery layers, keeping them securely in place. A combination of convoluted poly-foam and innerspring coils provides cozy comfort and support. (The full size option has 264 innerspring coils.) Available in twin and full sizes, the mattress meets all FR 1633 federal flammability standards.
