The cover drops 21 inches from the top of a twin-size mattress to the floor like a bedspread with split tailored corners. This daybed cover is made from a durable blend of 67% cotton and 33% polyester that is dry clean only. Its earth-tone color will look fantastic with any decor. Shams, pillows, and bolsters are not included, but can be added as accessories.
How does the daybed cover work? These beautiful covers top the mattress and drape to the floor on three sides of your daybed- the front and both sides. For anyone who's made up a daybed before they know the hardest part is tucking things down the back of the daybed. This is not a problem with a daybed cover because they stop at the back edge of the mattress so you don't have to struggle with a back piece to put down the back of the daybed. The daybed covers are sewn in such a way and made with heavy enough fabric to facilitate the daybed cover staying where it belongs.

So, the daybed cover is split with a back pleat in the front of this tailored cover in order to cover any trundle or storage below the bed but make it so you can get to items stored below the bed without removing the daybed cover. The daybed cover is split in the corners so you can easily put it down the sides of the bed without it scrunching up over the mattress support. Behind the corner splits there is another piece of fabric to hide the mattress so you won't see it from the front of the daybed. I was expecting something simpler. This day bed cover was well made and fit perfectly. However, the fabric was a heavy brocade in gold. It was much too formal for the room, so I returned it.

It is a cover for the "Aiken bed" my husband built. It is little long, but, with a new mattress, it should be perfect. Our 15 year old son thinks it's great, too!

this is on the daybed in my husband's study / guest room and everyone says the room is their favorite in the house and i must say i agree! the day bed and the cover/pillows are just perfect and the room is lovely. can only send real photos - can't do them on line sorry -

It is thinner than I expected and it doesn't appear that it will wear well with children. It should do fine in a less-used bedroom.
